Microsoft 365 Security Assessment

Microsoft 365 is suite of world-leading productivity, management, and security tools run in Microsoft cloud. 

IT security is top concern for most organizations and M365 security audit helps to identify security misconfigurations. The project consists of two main parts: 

1. Active Directory and Azure AD Hybrid identity assessment for Office 365 authentication. Including, but not limited to: 

• Synchronization services setup and location 

• Synchronization Accounts and permissions 

• User authentication flow and options 

• Synchronization rules 

• Installed versions 

• High availability of synchronization tools 

• Authentication setup and configuration (assessing whether appropriate tools are being used in current deployment) 

• Password policies and non-expiring passwords 

• Errors in synchronization tools and possible solutions. 

2. Office 365 security assessment. Including, but not limited to:  

• Office 365 Admin accounts and permissions 

• Office 365 Multi-Factor Authentication for Azure AD privileged roles and users 

• Auditing configuration and reports 

• External communication setup for Teams 

• Microsoft Teams security configuration 

• SharePoint and OneDrive External sharing report 

• SharePoint sites permission report 

• Recommendations for data protection 

• Office 365 Exchange online configuration – mailbox delegation, automatic forwarding rules, calendar sharing, mailbox auditing. 

• Office 365 assigned licenses 

The M365 security assessment project typically takes 4-6 weeks and there are two requirements to perform the project: 

1. Administrative permissions on the Azure AD Connect server (-s) 

2. At least read-only permissions to Office 365 configuration. 

 The outcome from M365 security audit project will include: 

1. The evaluation of your hybrid identity configuration and recommendations for security hardening. 

2. Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online) configuration evaluation and recommendations of security hardening and best practices. 

3. Audit report with summary and description of each evaluated component. 

4. Audit result presentation in an online meeting. 

Price: 4,000 EUR without VAT
